As ISIL Terrorizes Middle East, This Is How Obama Is Spending Labor Day Weekend

Nothing has gotten in the way of President Obama’s summer, so it is fitting that he is ending his summer with a Labor Day weekend of lavish fundraisers and celebrity weddings.
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) continues to seize territory in the Middle East and terrorize the region. The Obama administration still has no plan for how to stop it.
That won’t stop the president from having fun.
Here are Obama’s plans for the weekend.
Wall Street Fundraiser with Golf Buddy

Obama will head to a high-ticket fundraiser hosted by his golf buddy Robert Wolf on Friday afternoon in the aptly named New York town of Purchase.
Wolf is gathering 250 of Wall Street’s high-rollers to drop $32,000 into the Democratic National Committee’s coffers.
The relationship has been beneficial for Wolf as well. He founded a new consulting firm and makes sure that potential clients know he has Obama’s ear and close connections with current and former high-ranking administration officials.
Obama’s presence in New York for the holiday weekend is causing travel headaches for other potential vacationers, with flight restrictions extending through Sunday.
Quick Stop at Rhode Island Mansion
Obama is taking a quick trip on Friday afternoon up to Newport, Rhode Island, for a fundraiser at Rick Bready and Betty Easton’s Seafair mansion.
The wealthy socialites often host Democrats at their epic mansion for fundraising events. Tickets to this one range from $15,000 to $32,400, and will be attended by Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), DCCC Chairman Steve Israel, and U.S. Democratic Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse.
Seafair is currently valued at $19 million and is on the market. Here are some of its features:

Wedding of MSNBC Host and a Celebrity Chef
Obama will spend his Saturday at the New York wedding of his personal chef Sam Kass and MSNBC host Alex Wagner.
The wedding will be held at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, where Michelle Obama has previously held fundraisers.
Kass’ work with the White House has extended beyond cooking the president’s meals. He is executive director of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move health initiative and the senior policy adviser for nutrition policy. Wagner’s work extends solely to supporting the White House’s every move.
