NBC has asked Circuit Judge Debra Nelson to dismiss the lawsuit. The hearing is set for 9:30 a.m.
Zimmerman filed suit in December 2012, accusing NBC News of "yellow journalism" in its editing of his Feb. 26, 2012, call to Sanford police, in which Zimmerman reported the Miami Gardens teen as suspicious.
