Gonna be a REALLY good night for Texas!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Now if we can get Bob Hall over the finish line and retire that RINO Duell it will put the icing on the cake!

At least the GOPe has them quarantined in TX.

Congratulations to John Ratcliffe and the Senate Conservative Fund on knocking off their first Republican this season...a 91 year old WWII vet who said it would be his last campaign whether he won or lost.  The SENATE Conservative Fund spent $60,000 taking out this RINO.  He was also supported by Club for Growth and the Madison Project.

Quote
WASHINGTON, DC . . .  Today, the American Conservative Union honored Rep. Ralph Hall (TX-04) for the 32nd time as they presented the Congressman with their American Conservative Union Ratings Award for 2012.The American Conservative Union held its annual award ceremony to honor Members of Congress who consistently support issues of concern to grassroots conservatives.

"I am honored to once again receive the American Conservative Union's award," Hall stated. "My constituents believe in America’s founding principles and upholding our Constitution, and I will continue to fight for the priorities and conservative values important to those I represent.”
Three cheers for the patriots.  Protectors of Liberty.

(snark off) I only say this to point out the Tea Party priorities.  Ratcliff looks like an attractive and energetic candidate, and I don't begrudge him wanting to serve. (snark activate)

Congratulations to the Tea Party on the Lt Gov, AG, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner, and assorted state legislator seats...all of which will not affect the rest of the nation.  I hope these victories are everything you dreamed they could be

Congratulations also to soon to be Congressman Brian Babin of the 32nd distict, who will make a fine replacement for Steve Stockman.

Congratulations also to soon to be Congressman Will Hurd in the 23rd district.  He looks awesome.  https://twitter.com/WillHurd
