The good thing is these storms are forming a line, rather than a large number of individual super cells.  This helps to reduce the risk of the large, long track tornadoes.

When the lightning flashes, you can see the funnel or a very low wall cloud on Tuscaloosa tower cam.

Birmingham is now in the direct path of an approaching tornado as has taken a left turn.
