OK then.  Reminding myself to never take any of your posts seriously from this point forward.

Do as you please.

Won't change a thing! Facts are stubborn things!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Since 1930?  Seriously, how do you choose?  Hoover?  Incompetent in general.  FDR, the New Deal but at least he had sound war policy.  But then, he let Stalin walk all over him at Yalta.  LBJ?  Oh my... New Deal times 2 plus the misguided ramp-up of Vietnam.  Carter?  Malaise.  And then... we have Obama.  Where to start with this guy?  Shoehorned in there is an impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton.  Good Lord... please help us.

Obama and LBJ and MLK, Jr. all worshiped big government.

The allusion was to King's speech; Obama is the antithesis of the sentiments expressed in that speech, were it not for the color of his skin Obama would be a nothing; he wouldn't even have gotten as far as law school, and perhaps not even undergrad.
