Parolee identified by relatives as Don Pooley, 34, was shot dead on Tuesday as he retrieved food authorities had left by the door
Police were first called to the street on Monday as Pooley was involved in a domestic dispute - but he fled into another house where the teen lived
He did not know the boy, who was not harmed
Pooley's sister said she spoke to the suspect on the phone overnight and he did not want to die but did not want to go to prison
