Instead of "fear" and being "afraid" how about they actually grow a spine...

I'll tell you what should happen next, but unfortunately won't.

The Republicans in the House should remove all funding from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

The Democrats and the press will scream like stuck pigs but so? Two can play the game of unrestrained power.
