On Wednesday, the Department of Health and Human services released the first enrollment data from the health insurance exchanges set up under Obamacare, from its launch on Oct. 1 through Nov. 2. Here’s POLITICO’s breakdown of numbers from the first month of enrollment based on POLITICO reporting and HHS press releases:

26,794 – The number of people who successfully chose a health insurance plan using the Healthcare.gov website between Oct. 1 and Nov. 2. In that time, 106,185 people successfully chosen plans from the new Obamacare marketplaces.

846,184 – The number of completed applications through the marketplaces in that first month.

1.5 million – The number of individuals those applications account for.

396,261 – The number of those individuals who were determined eligible for Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

7 million – The number of marketplace enrollees the administration is hoping to get by March 31, 2014.

22 – The percent of that goal that has been reached by individuals applying through the marketplaces between Oct. 1 and Nov. 2 2013 .

26.9 million – The number of unique visitors on the state-based and federally facilitated marketplaces.

3 million – The number of calls placed to state-based and federally facilitated marketplaces.

53 percent – The percent of adults who are aware that financial support is available for marketplace coverage, as indicated by a Commonwealth Fund survey. Of those, according to the survey, 17 percent have visited the marketplace, and 58 percent said they are very likely or somewhat likely to go or go back to enroll in a plan or to apply for Medicaid/CHIP before the open enrollment period ends.

502,446 – The number of Americans who signed up in the first month who are positioned to have health coverage in 2014 through the marketplace, Medicaid and CHIP.
