Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer told Lou Dobbs on Monday that some of President Barack Obama's top fundraisers are cashing in on the Obamacare debacle through crony contracts funded by taxpayer dollars.

"They are very creative. They find ways to maximize their position and those of their biggest supporters," said Schweizer. "Millions of Americans are losing their health care coverage. Millions more are having difficulty even finding out what coverage is available. And yet there are people that are very well-positioned to do well financially."

"These are connections that are made by financiers, business owners who are bundlers of the president who have positioned their businesses in a nice way to profit from the mandates that Obamacare has created," he explained.

Schweizer, author of the New York Times bestselling book Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets, said the problem highlights the crony capitalism that has become the hallmark of the Obama Administration.

"Outrage is necessary. This is the problem you get when you get crony capitalism where the government starts picking winners and losers," said Schweizer. "They're not half as smart as they think they are."

Something new came out last night on either Greta or The Kelly File - (forget which) one of the things in the Obamacare sign up is they have to do a "credit check" - so in addition to everything else credit check companies are making money off the signups, too.

This rang a bell: so in addition to everything else credit check companies are making money off the signups, too

In an article claiming credit checks are not required, there is the following statement:
Quote
Experian, one of the three major credit bureaus, has been contracted to verify consumers’ identities as they apply for insurance through the exchanges, but the verification does not equal a credit check.

The article also notes:
Quote
Some of the confusion around the credit check myth is that one ACA navigator recently gave an interview explaining a credit check was required, and later retracted the misinformation.

So at first it was admitted but then the statement was withdrawn.

Uh huh.

Whichever, credit checks or identity verification, Experian stands to make a nice chunk of change on ObamaCare.
